Rocket Dog has moved its European head office in the U.K. to Camden, in central London, in order to provide easier access for its distributors. In restructuring the brand's sales network in Europe, Rocket Dog hired Derek Bowen as managing director for Europe at the end of 2011 and now starts to work with some new distribution partners in Europe. A few months ago, the Californian shoe brand signed a distribution agreement for the German market with Our Fashion Network, distributor of Aces of London, Björkvin and the U.S. shoe brand Däv in Germany. Three to four years ago, Rocket Dog was sold through a sales agency. Most recently, it had no retail presence at all in the German market. R.A. Company, based in Belgium and distributor of Bogs and Fit Flop in the Benelux, has been assigned as new distributor for Rocket Dog in the Benelux, starting with the spring/summer 2014 collection. Rocket Dog has reconfirmed its distribution agreement with Nordic Footwear, distributor of K-Swiss and Ipanema in Scandinavia, for spring/summer 2014. The Scandinavian distributor recently restructured its own organization, with a new business model. Rocket Dog has also hired new distributors in Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine and is about to agree on terms with sales partners in Russia, South Africa and the Middle East.
