Rohde has reportedly enjoyed a 43 percent increase in preliminary orders for its Daniel Hechter shoe collection, which has been placed under new management. The license contract with Hechter has been extended for seven more years after the recent refinancing of the German group by Square Four Investments and Morgan Stanley. The company has hired Ferdinand Molnar, former chief designer of Ara. Its chief executive, Pierre Heurich, is reportedly targeting a doubling in sales over the next three years, compared with about €80 million in 2008.
