Rohde says it will stop acting as the footwear licensee of Daniel Hechter after the end of this year., due to diverging strategic orientations. The collaboration has lasted 15 years, but it has generated lately less than 10 percent of the revenues of the German shoe company, which lost some top managers recently. Hechter has not yet announced a new licensee. Without mentioning a figure, Rohde says it is expecting a higher overall turnover for 2012. The last available figures show that it reached €60.4 million in 2010.
