Rolf Konrad, the multi-lingual manager who has been acting as general secretary of Mephisto for 21 years, is leaving the company at the end of this year to go into full or semi-retirement at the age of 66. He plans to be still involved in teaching the psychology of management at the university. A former headhunter, Konrad has been handling numerous tasks for Martin Michaeli, who founded the company in 1965 and is still active at the age of 77. He has been particularly involved in international sales, an area in which Michaeli's children, Marc and Stéphanie Michaeli, have been taking on more responsibilities in the last years.
