Salar Milano, the Italian bags brand, is expanding its product offerings with its first shoe collection for spring/summer 2019. According to reports in Pambianconews, the company expects to see its turnover increase by 15-20 percent in the first two seasons following the launch of its first shoe line. The shoes are manufactured in Italy's Marche region. Retail prices will range between €110 and €400. Salar Milano was founded in 2010, and is now present in 20 countries via a network of 130 multi-brand stores. In December, the brand will open its first mono-brand store in China. This first 30-square-meter store, located in Shanghai, will be followed in the first half of 2019, by three more mono-brand stores in Beijing, Chengdu and Nanjing. China accounts for around 40 percent of the brand's overall turnover. Furthermore, the brand will soon launch its online flagship stores on Chinese platforms such as Tmall and Jd.
