Salvatore Ferragamo and OTB were among the winners of the second edition of the Corporate Art Awards, which reward the synergies between private companies and institutions on art-related patronage. OTB, the group owned by Renzo Rosso, funded the restoration of the iconic Ponte di Rialto bridge in Venice. The restoration works were completed last spring. In 2013, the group had committed to donate $6.5 million over a three-year period to restore the monument. Ferragamo received the “Art Bonus” prize as a reward for its support for the restoration of the Fountain of Neptune, in Florence's Piazza della Signoria. The company, which is itself headquartered in Florence, donated $1.7 million. Restoration works are scheduled for completion by the end of 2018. The award ceremony of the Corporate Art Awards took place in Rome on Nov. 22, in the presence of Italy's Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini.
