Salvatore Ferragamo has promoted Paul Andrew to creative director. The English designer, who started off at the Italian company as women's footwear designer in 2016, had already taken charge of women's wear one year later. Christian Mainard will remain in charge of men's footwear and clothing, and he will also help Andrew on product development for all the categories. Andrew has agreed to put on hold his eponymous footwear line, which he had launched six years ago. Prior to that move, he had worked for Donna Karan for more than ten years, and then for Narciso Rodriguez and Calvin Klein.
