Salvatore Ferragamo, the Italian shoe and fashion house, has launched #ItalianExcellence, a capsule collection of men's eyewear for spring/summer 2019 involving three designers and a photographer: Derek Castiglioni, Francesco Meda, Rodrigo Izquierdo and Guido Taroni. Paul Andrew, Ferragamo's creative director, said that the collection was inspired from shapes of the 50s and 60s combined with ultramodern materials. The brand's eyewear license was transferred in 2011 from Luxottica to Marchon Eyewear.
