Santoni has announced that Marco Zanini, its clothing designer, will be leaving the brand. The two parties have decided to end their collaboration at the natural end of the contract. Zanini has been in charge of the ready-to-wear collections of the Italian shoe brand for four seasons. He accompanied Santoni in its debut in clothing, in the framework of the so-called Edited project. His last collection for the brand was a clothing line for spring-summer 2019, which was presented in Milan in September. Prior to Santoni, Zanini had been a designer at Rochas and Schiaparelli. Santoni's Edited clothing collection will continue to exist without being connected to any particular designer, the company said. According to reports in Milano Finanza, the clothing segment accounts for between 10 and 15 percent of Santoni's overall revenues.
