S.C. Johnson & Son is in the process of buying the global shoe care business of Sara Lee Corporation. The division includes the Kiwi brand as well as Bama International, which sells shoe accessories in specialty channels in Europe and Canada. The deal is worth $328 million and includes other brands of household products. S.C. Johnson is based in Racine, Wisconsin, and Sara Lee's shoe care business is headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The deal should go through by the middle of this year, contingent on regulatory approval. In 2009, Sara Lee's shoe care business had about $315 million in revenues.
