Selfridges has doubled its sustainable labeling scheme with the launch of six new categories across its fashion, beauty and interiors offers. The new labels, part of the department store's Buying Better scheme, highlight different sustainability attributes and include: Responsible Leather, Reducing Waste, Vegan, Forest-Friendly, Cruelty-Free and Supporting Communities. Selfridges first launched its Buying Better sustainability labeling in 2017. The introduction of the six new categories has more than doubled the Buying Better labeling scheme, which now comprises more than 3,000 items from around a hundred brands.
