Shoe Pavilion Has Losses, Moves To Intensify Sales Through Consignment

Although net sales leaped up by 18.2 percent to $37.3 million in the third quarter, the American footwear chain had weighty in-house structural costs to cover, related to inventory and under-performing stores, as well as a $4.8 million-one-off tax payment to make, leading to continued losses for the period.
