Shoescribe and The Corner, the two e-shops previously owned by Yoox, have been acquired by an Italian entrepreneur, Vittorio Chalon, and they will be back online soon. The two e-shops had been shut down in 2015 following the creation of the Yoox-Net-à-Porter group. According to reports on fashionmagazine.it, the two online stores will be re-opened by the end of 2018, and will be selling men's and women's fashion items from international brands. Chalon told the news service that the two brands were still strong and suitable to host the e-commerce activities of the nine brick-and-mortar stores of his group, which include Tony in Magenta, Gisa in Ancona and Chiaravalle, and Minola in Biella and Marseille. The Corner will offer an expanded range of clothes and accessories as compared to the past while Shoescribe will focus on niche, creative shoes and accessories.
