Skechers has appointed a new chief financial officer, John Vandermore. He takes over the related responsibilities from David Weinberg, who will continue as chief operating officer of the company. Vandermore spent the last two years as CFO of Mattel. He previously worked for 12 years with the Walt Disney Company and three years as CFO of IGT. The new position will allow Weinberg to optimize Skechers' growing international operations, which are now contributing more than half of its revenues. Weinberg has been associated with the company since 1993, when he was appointed CFO one year after its start-up under Robert Greenberg. He added the COO's function in 2006.
