Skechers has has filed a lawsuit against Steven Madden for copyright infringement. The shoe style in question is Steven by Steve Madden's Setta shoe, which allegedly infringes on the Skechers Go Walk and other Skechers product lines. In the law suit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Skechers is seeking an injunction against the Setta line as well as compensatory and punitive damages. Skechers is being represented in the suit by Marshall Lerner and Vivian Wang of Kleinberg & Lerner in Los Angeles. In 2011, Skechers already sued Madden, claiming its Stevies brand copied its Twinkle Toes patented shoe design.
