Skechers has lost a court case started in April 2013 against Cortina in Düsseldorf. The U.S. company alleged that some models of the Belgian-based trading company were infringing on one of its registered designs and its trade model in the Twinkle Toe range. On July 5, the Regional Court of Düsseldorf dismissed Skechers' claim and ordered it to pay the procedural costs. Skechers did not appeal the decision.
