Skechers says it has won a protracted trademark dispute with Converse. An International Trade Commission judge found that Skechers' Twinkle Toes and its BOBS designs did not violate the trademark rights of Converse's Chuck Taylor midsole. According to Skechers, the judge also ruled that Converse's trademark had not acquired any secondary meaning when Skechers started using its designs in 2001, and so it was not valid in this case.
