Snipes, a subsidiary of Deichmann, recently opened its tenth French store at the Parly 2 shopping center, in the suburbs of Paris. The retailer opened its first French store in the summer of 2018, at the Créteil Soleil shopping center, while the first store in the inner city area of Paris was inaugurated in February of this year, in the district of Les Halles. In April, Snipes opened a store in Marseille. The retailer is planning to open another store in September, and this will be located in the city of Clermont-Ferrand, in central France. According to reports by Fashion Network, Snipes is also planning to open stores in the French cities of Lyon and Nancy. Snipes, which was founded in Essen, Germany, in 1998, operates nearly 230 stores in nine European countries. It is also currently entering the American market, following Deichmann's acquisition of KicksUSA earlier this year. The 64 stores of the KicksUSA network will be renamed Snipes.
