Some important brands are coming back to the GDS for its next edition on Feb. 10-12, which will showcase more than 800 brands. One of the newcomers is Timberland, which has been absent from the Düsseldorf trade show in recent memory. It will join newcomers such as Lyle & Scott, Rockland, Franzini and Via Scarpa in the Highstreet section of the show. Lottusse will return to the GDS, occupying a space in the Pop Up section along with new brands such as Oliver Sweeney, Roy Robson, Esseutesse or La Bottega di Lisa Miista. EMU Australia will have a space for the first time in the children's section of the GDS together with Shoesme, Shoo Pom, Shwik and Move de Melton. The sourcing show, Tag it!, will continue to run simultaneously with the GDS, but it will move to Hall 1. The organizers of the GDS have decided to hold the next summer edition of the Düsseldorf show a little earlier than last year, from July 26 to 28, making it run from Tuesday through Thursday because Friday is an important day for the retailers' business.
