Sophie Bambuck, who has served as senior brand director for Nike Sportswear for Western Europe for the past two years, has become chief marketing officer of Converse. She takes the place of Julien Cahn, who had moved to Converse from Nike in 2016. According to Bloomberg, he is going to work for Supreme, the hot American label of streetwear. His departure and that of some other managers from the Nike group are said to be unrelated to the recent exodus of male executives discussed in the front-page article in this issue.
