Spenco Medical Corporation, the foot care and footwear products manufacturer in Texas, will warm up your feet – or cool them, whichever you prefer. Its new PolySorb FLOW Warm insole uses an ultra-thin layer of Outlast material to capture natural body heat and redistribute it as necessary. Spenco says it will be good for sports and outdoor footwear. As you move, air channels in the insole compress and expand to create heat circulation between the insole and the shoe, making the temperature in the shoe even with no “hot and cold spots.” On the other hand, its FLOW Cool insole uses jade to slow down an increase in the temperature as you move; Spenco says this can cool down the foot as much as 3 degrees Fahrenheit eventually.
