Sutor Mantellassi has opened a store at a prestigious new location at 3, via Montenapoleone in Milan. The 250-square-meter store, which has two levels, will also offer the company's new line of women's shoes. The Italian producer, which was taken over by E-Land of South Korea in September 2010 along with other brands belonging to Lario 1898, is reported to be planning the opening of 10 single-brand stores in the Far East over the next three years. Meawhile, Mandarina Duck, the brand of handbags acquired by E-Land last July, reports break-even operating results on 4 percent higher sales of €9.5 million for the first quarter of this year, compared with negative Ebitda of €2.5 million in the same period a year ago.
