Online retail sales of shoes are still increasing. While online sales represented 4 percent of total sales of the Austrian shoe industry in 2010, they accounted for 25 percent of the market in 2018. RegioData assumes that online sales will account for 50 percent of the industry's total sales five years from now. The Deichmann group, including Deichmann, Snipes and MyShoes, remains market leader in Austria, accounting for 25 percent of the overall Austrian shoe retail sales. Leder & Schuh, including Humanic, Shoe4You and Stiefelkönig, reaches a market share of 18 percent. All other retailers have a market share that is below ten percent.
