The British Hotter brand of comfort shoes reportedly reached an annual turnover of £35 million, up from £27 million three years ago. Beacounsfield Footwear, the company that manufactures shoes under this brand at its own factory in Lancashire, has introduced a new method to directly mould its Hotter Comfort Concept shoes that will help boost capacity and improve quality. It has invested £250,000 on a new computerized conveyer system that relies on robotic technology to carry out precise techniques that could not be applied manually with the same degree of accuracy.
