The British subsidiary of Sixty Group is coming out of receivership proceedings following a so-called “company voluntary agreement” with its creditors. Two out of a dozen stores in the U.K., located in Manchester and Liverpool, are being closed down, but most of the 250 employees of the Italian fashion company in the U.K. will keep their jobs. Sixty Group has asked Bain & Company to help it to put together a business plan for the 2009-2012 period, discussing among other things the strategy to follow in the U.K. and in other big markets such as France and Germany.
