The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) has appointed Rick Muskat, principal of Deer Stags Concepts, as its new chairman, effective June 1. He takes over from Greg Tunney, president and chief executive of RG Barry, who will serve as an ex-officio member of the association's executive committee. Prior to reaching the top spot, Muskat had served in various leadership positions with the trade body, including as FDRA vice chairman. Ed Rosenfeld, chief executive of Steve Madden, will now serve as FDRA vice chairman while Mike Jeppsen, president of Wolverine Worldwide's global operations, was voted in as FDRA's treasurer.
