The German buying cooperative GMS launched a campaign about health and wellness shoes together with the German Shoe Institute, DSI. The health shoes product group within GMS, which consists of 200 orthopedic and comfort shoe retailers in Germany, will concentrate on back pain. Between May 29 and June 9, the affiliated retailers of orthopedic and comfort shoes are going to launch a nationwide informative and promotional campaign with the slogan “Time to change your position – health shoes for a strong back.” Customers will have the opportunity to collect vouchers for foot analysis and to win exclusive wellness trips at participating stores, where health professionals, running therapists and osteopaths will give talks and offer consultations. The campaign is supported by the brands Finn Comfort, Ganter, Waldläufer, Joya, Chung Shi and MBT. Regional billboard campaigns and promotional leaflets in magazines aim to garner attention for the campaign.
