The Italian footwear maker Giano posted a 20 percent increase in revenues last year compared with the €11 million posted in 2017. The group's chief executive, Enrico Paniccià, told Pambianconews that the growth was driven by two licensed brands, La Martina and Harmont & Blaine, and a joint venture with the American outerwear brand Woolrich. The joint venture was created in 2017 and launched Woolrich's first footwear collection. Paniccià expects 2019 to be difficult, but the company remains positive. Giano achieves 65 percent of its revenues outside Italy, mainly in Europe. It is expanding in Asia and in the U.S.
