The new July 5-7 session of Mess Around will not be held in the Porte de Versailles fairgrounds in Paris. The French shoe trade fair will continue to be staged in the Docks de Paris, which are more difficult to reach by public transportation. The reason for this change of plans is the fact that Before by July, the new early women’s ready-to-wear show, has decided to start at the Docks instead of the Porte de Versailles. Its organizers have so far convinced only about 40 companies to show at the new women’s wear fair, but they hope to get up to 150 brands in the end. The Sept. 5-7 session of Mess Around should then be the first one to be held at the Porte de Versailles, like the other major fashion fairs taking place simultaneously in Paris.
