The new owners of Charles Jourdan have appointed yet another chief executive, the third one since the company’s takeover last October. The new CEO is Laurent Gabert, but little is known about him. He has taken the place of Christophe Mujagic, who had been named last Dec. 20 to replace Philippe Cardon. According to press reports, Jourdan is suffering some delays in its deliveries of the Spring/Summer collection, which has been very well received, because of a cash squeeze that is affecting its production facilities.
