The Portuguese shoe and leathergoods industry association, Apiccaps, has re-elected Fortunato Federico as its president for another three years. He has been the president of Apiccaps since 1998. Federico said he wants to make the industry “a reference point internationally.” The entrepreneur is who is the founder of Fly London. His holding company, Kyaia, owns Fly London as well as another brand of comfortable footwear, Softinos, and a Portuguese chain of shoe shops called Foreva. New on Apiccaps' board are Sergio Cunha from Nobrand, Joaquim Moreira from Felmini and Inez Caleiro from Guava. The latter is the youngest board member in the history of the Portuguese association.
