The Scandinavian Shoe Center, the permanent trademart for shoe companies within the Copenhagen Fashion House at Bella Center, has reported that it expects to continue to operate for at least two more seasons, although many exhibitors have pulled out. The most important one, ECCO, has chosen to set up its showroom above one of its stores in the pedestrian mall of the Danish capital. The current contract between the Scandinavian Shoe Center and Bella Center ends in mid-2012, and negotiations about a new contract have been going on for a while. One of the key issues is the need for renovation and reconstruction of the premises. However, the Bella Center is now for sale due to the bankruptcy of a bank owned by its three main shareholders.
