The Spanish Pikolinos Group is reviving the Martinelli brand it bought up one year ago. A new collection will be launched in Spain, and then rolled out into countries where Pikolinos is trading such as France Germany, Italy, Russia and Mexico. The group is projecting 20 percent growth, with a consolidated turnover of around €90 million for its current financial year, ending March 31. The group has strengthened its Canadian and U.S. presence, expanded its network greatly in Mexico, and penetrated markets such as Greece, Hungary and the Czech Republic. By the end of the next financial year, the group intends to launch a children’s footwear line and build up a 30-door retail network in China with the help of a Hong Kong-based company.
