The third Spanish Jimmy Choo store is opening in Barcelona, as the brand continues to increase its presence in Continental Europe, where sales rose by 53 percent in 2007. The London-based company already has stores in Madrid and Marbella, in addition to three stores in France and one in Italy. Outside Europe, the brand is mainly sold in the USA and in Britain. Consolidated turnover in 2007 grew by 28 percent to £85.6 million (€113.3m-$167.8m), of which £51.9 million (€68.7m-$101.5m) were generated by company store sales. In order to diversify its offer on the luxury segment, the brand is gearing up to launch a collection of fragrances and eyewear.
