The Tod's brand has hired the designer Alber Elbaz to work on its Tod's Factory project, which involves the contribution of external designers on a rotating basis. Elbaz was creative director at the French fashion house of Lanvin from 2001 to 2015. He will be the second designer to take part in the project, which started with Alessandro dell'Acqua and a capsule collection of clothing and shoes reached the shelves in November last year. Over the past years, Elbaz has been working on ad hoc projects with various companies, including the design of a sneaker for Converse. For Tod's, Elbaz will create a series of accessories that will be unveiled by the summer.
