This past summer, Scorett launched a shoe rental concept in its store in the Femman district of Gothenburg, Sweden. The idea has been successful, so the chain has applied it to four more stores. The “Rent your party shoes” program has definitely put Scorett on the map for convenience and sustainability. At the end of October, the Swedish shoe retailing group also set up a dedicated section for its second-hand shoe concept, Reuse, at its main store in Stockholm. The concept has already been introduced at other stores of the group operating under the banners Scorett, Håkanssons, Wallenbergs, Sneakers Corner and Scorett Outlet. Over a ton of shoes have been recycled so far. Most of these shoes go to the charity Human Bridge. Selected pairs are reworked by Scorett's shoemakers to be sold via Reuse. Scorett launched the Reuse concept in December 2018.
