Timberland's sales grew by 10 percent in the second quarter on a constant-currency basis, with increases of more than 15 percent in Europe and more than 5 percent in Asia-Pacific, but the strength of the dollar reduced the growth rate to two percent in reported terms. Vans, another brand that belongs to VF Corp., posted double-digit growth for the 23rd consecuting quarter, rising by 23 percent in local currencies. Its sales increased by more than 30 percent in Asia-Pacific and by around 15 percent in Europe.
