Tod's has indicated that its 2010 results will beat the expectations of financial analysts after having posted strong sales during the Christmas season. It added that on the basis of orders for the spring/summer, it expects very positive 2011 results. In the wake of these comments, the Milan-based broker Banca Akros upgraded its forecasts for 2010, estimating an 8.6 percent increase in sales, against a previous forecast of 7.0 percent, and bolstered its Ebitda margin forecast to 24.0 percent from 23.5 percent. In 2009, Tod's booked sales of €713.1 million. The Italian fashion group is scheduled to release preliminary 2010 sales data on Jan. 26 and complete full-year results on March 23.
