Totes Isotoner, marketer of accessories including umbrellas, gloves and slippers, has bought Acorn Products, an American firm known for its slippers. John Donnelly, the president and chief executive of Acorn, will continue as general manager for the brand. He said that Isotoner's global resources will help Acorn expand well beyond what it could have done on its own. Acorn, which makes the Slipper Sock, will stay in its headquarters in Maine, and the sales, marketing and product development teams will remain on board, as well its independent sales agencies. The purchase price was not released.
