Vans has partnered with Led Zeppelin for a capsule collection commemorating the 50th anniversary of the rock band's eponymous first album. Like the original band, the Vans x Led Zeppelin collection is a four piece, comprising a long-sleeve T-shirt, a baseball cap, high-top sneakers and low-top sneakers. The low-tops, called Era, are decorated with the band members' four symbols, which debuted on a later album, Led Zeppelin IV. The high-tops, called Sk8-Hi, draw from the first album's cover, with its depiction of the Hindenburg disaster, and have silver on the quarter panel. The collection goes on sale on Feb. 22. It will be available at select Vans retail stores and wholesale partners and on the Vans and Led Zeppelin e-commerce sites. Vans has done previous musical collaborations, notably with the hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest.
