We have already reported about the merger between Shoepassion, the specialist German men's footwear retailer, and one of its suppliers, Heinrich Dinkelacker. Christoph Renner has left as sales manager of Dinkelacker, after ten years with the company, to form his own sales agency for the German market, called Edelschuhe (=noble shoes). He is starting by representing three interesting brands: Heschung from France, Steptronic from the U.K. and Binné, a German brand of brogue shoes for women. The deal with Steptronic is non-exclusive and will mostly cover the southern part of Germany. The British men's shoe brand has hired another agent, Holger Heide, to cover mostly the northern part of the country.
