While confirming their decision to move the dates of MIDEC to an earlier Feb. 3-5 schedule next year to coincide with many other fashion fairs in Paris, the show’s organizers indicate that they may hold a complementary new workshop-type exhibition in Paris at the end of March. It would be held at Porte de Champerret, where many international companies and the French agents have been holding three simultaneous fairs – Arici, Centro and Italmoda – until now. Those three fairs will move to another location at Vincennes, to the east of the city. The latest session of MIDEC on Sept. 3-5 was visited by 11,905 people, or 5 percent fewer than one year ago.
