Wortmann has reportedly decided to invest a record amount of more than €100 million in its Tamaris brand for the next few years to support its sell-out in Germany and other countries. Starting in the autumn, it will add TV commercials in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark, and it will start advertising the brand in other media in France, Poland, Sweden and Norway. In Germany, a broad-based online campaign will start off in August, complementing the efforts already made by Wortmann for Tamaris on TV and through posters and print ads. Company officials have been hesistant to communicate the turnover achieved by their star brand, but this will hopefully change soon.
