Wortmann says that 73 of its 300 franchised Tamaris stores have adopted the new Tamaris 2.0 concept. That includes top locations in Vienna, Paris, Luxembourg, Nice, Athens and Moscow. The company quotes one of its biggest franchisees, Marc Timmermans, as being particularly satisfied with the new, more future-oriented format, which has led to higher sales. Timmermans, who owns seven Tamaris stores, used it when moving one of them to a prime location in the The Mint, a new shopping center across from Brussels' Opera House.
