Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP) has hired Nicola Brandolese as the new managing director of Net-a-Porter. Most recently, Brandolese served as chief executive of Giuseppe Zanotti. YNAP has also announced the arrival of Pete Marsden as chief technology officer, with a special focus on mobile, artificial intelligence (AI) and personalization. Prior to joining YNAP, Marsden worked at House of Fraser and Asos. Thierry Pichon and Alessia Crivelli have also joined YNAP in the two newly created roles of vice-president of global sales and customer experience and brand and communications director, respectively. Finally, Paolo Inga, the former Vodafone human resources director, has been appointed as the new global human resources director of YNAP. Meanwhile, Mr Porter's managing director, Toby Bateman, has resigned from his role after nine years. Bateman joined the luxury e-tailer, part of Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP), as buying director in 2010, and was promoted to managing director in 2015. The reasons for Bateman's departure have not been disclosed.
