Zalando has switched out bosses for its domestic market with Linus Glaser succeeding Moritz Hau as German country manager, in charge also of Austria and Switzerland. Glaser has been involved with the Berlin-based online fashion retailer since 2011 after joining from Mango where he was senior product manager. His first position with Zalando was as team manager of business development and head of commercial planning and strategy. He has been running the company's operations in Austria and Switzerland business since last May and the new promotion will see him take control of Zalando's operations throughout the German-speaking region. His predecessor, Hau, has reportedly changed industries, setting up a solar energy service provider, Eigensonne, in Berlin. For over two years, Hau had been responsible for the core German market at Zalando. Hau joined the company in February 2015 after working for Asos in Germany and Yoox as country manager in the U.S.
