Zalando started up its Belgian online store on April 25, after opening its Swedish store on April 11. Like the Berlin-based company's other national websites, they both offer a wide selection of shoes and clothing. However, the customer can only return a purchase within 30 days, instead of the 100-day time frame allowed in Germany. Poland should be the next destination for the fast-growing e-tailer. Its unexpectedly strong growth has led it to decide to invest an additional €70 million to add two more halls, totaling 48,000 additional square meters, to its new logistic center in Erfurt, whose first hall is due to open this summer with an initial surface of 78,000 m². The two additional pavillions should come on steam in the summer of next year.
